Varun, hacking=knowledge

When Varun R 1^st year engineering student from KSIT Bangalore(electronics and communication) became a victim of a profile hacker on orkut.com, a social networking site he pledged to take revenge and learned to hack profiles and communities, Varun don’t like himself to be labeled as a hacker however he knows how to hack. His popularity on orkut sparked up when he got a challenge from an another member of orkut.com while talking into one community to hack one website, varun was the one who accepted that challenge and hacked that site through remote file inclusion and SQL injection.

Talking more on hacking varun said that “in hacking everything cant be discovered by use itself....some guy would have developed a trick we use that and find a exploit..the thing is how we apply the resources and implement it....but when hacking domains ,websites, forums, its not a easy business ...u should have comp background for it....say I had a experience of comp from birth...that’s I am good in this things...I have a valid certificate of NIIT and jet king...that I have completed the following courses..... C, C++, Unix, Linux and Java....”

Besides his activities in orkut Varun is also active in other web sites and forums reading posts and topics and try to inherit it in some other websites then when I get a hold of that trick and try implementing it in his own way.

In the interview on orkut’s hall of fame I asked the question to him that how he will justify hacking, varun replied

“Zazo:While doing hacking do you feel a fear inside you? How you will justify yourself when you know that hacking is a crime? Any comments?

Varun: Hacking is indeed a crime when it comes shop exploit and hacking domains but u cant help in internet world , internet world is so advanced that everybody in internet have forgotten to enjoy they have made internet a place of earning and spamming that’s a premium account is too costly that none can even buy one only some rich people will afford to buy I but on the other side we just share with them by exploiting it. I just say that hacking==knowledge if you have knowledge you can be here.”

Varun is known by his nickname “unknown” on several orkut communities dedicated to hacking and related stuff, he is a moderator of more than 4 different communities providing and helping other’s codes and even learning from others. For varun learning is more fun than anything else.

His fast replies and ready to answer any question puts him under some hardcore computer freaks whom I interviewed till now. Varun is an intelligent and talented young guy who gives much credit to his computer science background and self learning knowledge.
